The Inquirer to be resurrected; an April
edition is scheduled to go into circulation at the end
of March

Joe
and Luisa Parisi, publishers of The Mount Vernon
Inquirer
Mount
Vernon is fast becoming one of the most dynamic cities
in Westchester County. The city, having undergone a
major overhaul after the old administration was replaced
with a progressive new administration under Mayor
Clinton Young - is ready for transformation.
Our decision to shutdown The Inquirer was a very
painful one, but one that had to be made. But, after
being dormant for four months, the paper is being
resurrected and will soon be providing all the positive
news about the great city of Mount Vernon as in the
past.
We intend to continue with out strict policy of keeping
negative news out of the paper, since we want the
people's newspaper to continue acting as a 'breath of
fresh air' for the entire city.
Like the new administration’s fresh approach, “The
People’s Newspaper” is poised to come into bud and
support the growth and progress blossoming in the vein
of the soon to be Spring flowers of the upcoming 2008
season. These steps forward have infused a new energy
around the community and the Mount Vernon Inquirer
is set to bring back to life this most astute
publication.
Mount Vernon’s hometown newspaper will again highlight
local news, cultural and civic events. We are most
pleased to be returning to the spotlight of Mount
Vernon’s unbiased round-table approach to the public
interests as well as contributing to her growth under
its new Mayor.
We at the MOUNT VERNON INQUIRER are pleased to
welcome to our community a myriad of new staff writers
who will bring fresh and innovative articles to our
readers. We will continue to nourish the interest of our
populace by listening to public concerns, so continue to
feel free to contact us with any subjects you may want
us to become aware of and our staff will be more than
happy to follow-up on selected topics.
Furthermore, let us again join together in the support
of our young people as they excel in sports and
educational pursuits, involve our community in examining
the different issues and problems that affect Mount
Vernon and develop means by which to solve the possible
problems.
Keep visiting this site often, since we are working on
providing interesting video clips of high profile
interviews. We also plan to resurrect our television
show and possibly go back to radio as well.
My wife and I have missed Mount Vernon dearly and we
are anxious to get back to what we have a passion for -
providing the people of Mount Vernon with absolute
positive community news.
