Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter (the “Chapter”) was founded September 18, 1978 in White Plains, NY, and operates several programs in accordance with Omega Psi Phi Fraternity's national initiatives as well as some of its own creation. These include: White Plains Youth Academy, voter registration, senior citizens projects, health fairs, and a local Talent Hunt Program where area high school students can demonstrate their artistic capabilities and compete on a national level.

Bruce E. Tolbert of Yonkers and Basileus of Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter said “one of the Chapter’s significant accomplishments has been its Beta Alpha Alpha Foundation, Inc., which raises funds for scholarships and annually awards $10,000 in scholarships to deserving young students in Westchester County to attend colleges and universities throughout the United States.”

Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. was founded on November 17, 1911, at Howard University, Washington, D.C. From its inception the fraternity has been an organization dedicated to friendship and humanitarian efforts.  The outreach and concern continues to manifest in Beta Alpha Alpha Chapter’s current involvement as they celebrate 31 years of community service.
